Arvind's letter to Sheila Dixit

Smt. Sheila Dikshit ji, I have received a letter written by your political secretary, Mr. Pawan Khera in which you have raised certain issues.  This letter answers those questions.  However, I am perplexed why you did not write to me directly  instead of using your staff member’s name.  A few months back you did the same thing.  I had stated in a public meeting that you are a broker of electricity companies. You probably took offense to it.  Even at that time, instead of filing a defamatory case against me in your name, you did it using Mr Khera’s name.  There is a saying in English- “A leader should lead from the front”.  Hiding behind someone, or firing from someone else's shoulder, demonstrates the weakness of a leader. Brutal attack on AAP volunteers by Delhi police

Delhi police brutality! Yesterday many of our volunteers were brutally beaten up by the Delhi police for protesting outside the police station asking for the police to register an FIR in the case of a  young woman who was confined and raped for 2 days in Gokulpuri.  The picture (see below) and videos of the incident shows the viciousness of the attack on peacefully protesting young men and women.  Several of them were admitted to the hospital with broken bones and bleeding wounds.  When one of our volunteers asked for water, he was offered urine.  (Read the  news report  in 'The Hindu') Volunteers are our strength and when the police beats up any one of us, each lathi, each blow is a pain inflicted on all of us. Gandhiji’s freedom fighters had to endure the same brutality at the hands of the British rulers. Little did we know that this unjust treatment would continue even after we got independence and this time at the hands of our own elected government.  Thi
